BERMUDA CRUISE FOR TWO ON THE NORWEGIAN SPIRIT RULES
- Entries are open to all adults 18 years and older. No one under 18 may receive a prize.
- No more than 500 entries will be sold. Odds in winning 1 in 500 (or better).
- The price of each raffle ticket is $20 U.S. or 3 entries for $50.
- There is no limit to the number of entries an individual may purchase.
- All entries must be paid for at time of purchase.
- The winner’s name will be published on the Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors website in addition to notice to the winner direct.
- No raffle entries will be sold after July 19,2010. Request for entries received after that time, or after 500 entries have been sold, will not be included in the drawing and returned. Entry requests are subject to acceptance by VFOGO.
- For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors, PO Box 323, Waitsfield, VT 05673 after July 19, 2010.
- If fewer than 250 raffle entries are sold by July 19, 2010, Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors reserves the right in its absolute discretion to convert the raffle to a 50/50 cash prize raffle.
- The prize being offered is a 1 week, cruise for two from Boston, MA to Bermuda, with $200 in onboard credits. It is on the Norwegian Spirit in an outside balcony cabin. The prize includes a 1 night stay in Boston pre cruise and parking while on the cruise. Meals while on the cruise ship are included, not included are alcoholic beverages and shore excursions.
- The award must be claimed within 60 days of notification, although the cruise dates may be scheduled after that time. If not, all funds revert to the Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors and the organization may choose to pick a new winner, or retain the proceeds, for its non-profit activities.
- The trip will be arranged by a Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors committee member. The winner will meet with the committee member to work out details.
- Unless prohibited by law, the winner may substitute a cash prize in the amount of $2000 U.S. in lieu of taking the trip. Any election to take the cash prize must be made within 60 days of notification.
- The winner is responsible for all applicable local, state and federal taxes. All prizes are considered additional income by the IRS.
- All requests for entries are available from a Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors representatives.
- The winner will be selected from a random drawing from all eligible entries to be conducted July 19, 2010 by an independent party whose decision shall be final and binding in all respects. The winning entry will be drawn from a container in which all eligible entry stubs purchased for the drawing will be mixed. Each entry stub will have an equal chance of being drawn.
- This offer is void where prohibited by law. Members residing in the State of Washington may not participate in the raffle or win prizes.
- Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors members and their spouses are not eligible to enter or win.
- Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors to use the winner’s name, likeness and photograph in any Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors publicity in all media including the internet without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
- This raffle is sponsored by the Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors. The entire net proceeds of the raffle shall be exclusively to the lawful purposes of the Vermont Festival of the Great Outdoors.
